An intiative by the Worldwide Achievers, the Healthcare Excellence Summit 2015 was recently held at New Delhi. This is one of the most authoritative congregations in India. A one of its kind mega intiative, the summit brings on one platform the leading medical experts across India to discuss and network on issues related to the healthcare industry.
The summit also honored around 70 top doctors, clinics & hospitals, nursing homes, healthcare providers, hospital equipment companies, diagnostic laboratories and medical educational institutions. It was at this summit that Dr. Debraj Shome was honored with the best plastic surgeon in India award.
Dr. Shome, currently consultant facial plastic surgeon at the Saifee Hospital, Breach Candy Hospital and Holy Family Hospital, has to his credit over 40 national and international peer - reviewed publications. He also has two global patents in his pocket for his research around the development of a nano-molecule drug which is beneficial in the treatment of retinoblastoma eye cancer. Another patent is for the invention of a revolutionary hair regrowth composition called the QR 678 Growth Factor Injections.
The awards were given away by Shripad Yesso Nayak, Minister of State (IC) and Padamshree Dr. Jitendra Kumar Singh (Vice President – IMA).
