Ms. Stacy Hinners to Speak at the 2016 CLM Southeast Conference-Retail, Restaurant, & ...

Ms. Stacy Hinners, Employee Relations Counsel, The Sherwin-Williams Company will be speaking on “Considerations in Maintaining Appearance, Dress Code and Grooming Policies in the Workplace.” This conference will be held on February 4 &5 at the Double Tree by Hilton in Tampa, Florida.

Stacy Chubak Hinners is Employee Relations Counsel for The Sherwin-Williams Company, North America’s largest manufacturer and retailer of paints and coatings with nearly 4,500 retail locations. Stacy provides legal counseling, guidance on policy and compliance issues, coordinates diversity and inclusion initiatives and helps with early assessment and resolution of employment and labor matters. 

Prior to joining Sherwin-Williams, Stacy was a trial attorney representing individuals in civil rights, employment and class action litigation. She has tried more than a dozen cases to verdict, including obtaining a jury award of $1.9M in a discrimination and FMLA case. She also supervised a large-scale civil rights reform project in Ohio’s juvenile prisons. She is an Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) Board Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment law and serves on the OSBA’s Board of Delegates as well as its Labor and Employment Section Council. Stacy is  admitted to practice in Ohio, federal courts in Ohio, federal appellate courts for the Sixth and Seventh Circuits and the United States Supreme Court. She has been recognized as a Rising Star by SuperLawyers magazine.

Stacy lives in Huron with her husband, Jason, and their two children. She is proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Dress for Success Cleveland and as a youth basketball coach.
