THREE RIVERS, Calif., Jan.18, 2016, — Two veterinarian-written articles on effective dog-training were included in a newsletter released by DogHealth.com this weekend, in honor of National Train Your Dog Month.
The articles focus on a positive reinforcement dog training technique called clicker training. The technique uses a unique sound, such as a clicker, to let a dog know when he’s done what his owner wishes him to do.
“Clicker Training for Dogs: An Overview” and “How to Teach a Dog to Play Fetch Using Clicker Training" are the two highlighted articles. A “For the Humans” section in the newsletter links to the article “Morning Glory: Healthy Beginnings for a Health Day,” which explains the importance of a morning routine and gives a sample of one.
The newsletter explains how to enter a contest to win $1000 on CanineSuperstar.com.
A canine Capricorn horoscope is included, just for fun.
