The M3 Orange Plus Handheld Computer is an highly rugged, yet slim and attractive industrial PDA with a number of RFID reader options. It features the intuitive Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system or optionally Windows CE 6.0. An IP65 rating means it is impervious to dust and sand and resistant to water. Therefore it delivers reliable performance and is suitable for use in demanding and enterprise environments. Weighing only around 330 gram (0.73 pounds) the M3 Orange Plus is ideal for mobile indoor and outdoor use.
As a specialist for RFID, iDTRONIC Professional offers the Orange Plus handheld optionally with fully integrated rfid reader and writer. Available for all common frequencies and standards, customers can select between UHF long and short-range, HF, LF as well as LEGIC compatible RFID units. This enables more accurate mobile data capturing and processing. It is therefore particularly well suited for read-intensive applications in industry, logistics and retail. An included software development kit gives the flexibility and freedom to develop custom applications.
M3 Orange Plus features a powerful Cortex-A8 833 MHz processor for faster graphic process and memory access. A smart 3.7V Li-Ion battery provides long battery life and accurate capacity data. Bluetooth class II, a 3.2 megapixels camera with autofocus and WLAN with IEE standard 802.11 and b/g/n bandwidth are included as standard. A 3.5 inch touchscreen and multi-functional numeric keypad with hotkeys complete the package. Upon request, this can be replaced by a QWERTY version.
Due to the modular construction the Orange Plus can be offered with different configurations and hardware options. Besides the large selection of RFID readers, the mobile terminal can be fitted with a 1D barcode scanner or 2D imager to deliver even greater flexibility. In addition, UMTS / HSPA+ provide reliable voice and exceptionally fast wireless data transmission.
A large selection of accessories offers everything you need to meet daily business needs. The Ethernet cradle allows charging the battery while the Orange Plus is connected to the local network. For larger equipment pools, a four slot cradle for simultaneous charging is available. A practical vehicle cradle with including charging cable secures the device on the go, while allowing full access to all functions.
