Art Opportunity, Barebrush January 2016 Calendar Art Competition. Deadline Dec. 21
All visual artists are invited by BAREBRUSH founder and CEO, Ilene Skeen, to submit art of all genres for three Barebrush calendar exhibitions: January 2016 N*des-of-the-Month calendar exhibition, the January 2016 PhotoArt N*des calendar exhibition, and the January 2016 Best-of-the-Rest calendar exhibition.
Curator and Juror of Awards: Guest curator, Della Clason Sperling is an art enthusiast in fields as disparate as late nineteenth century Victorian Painting, Feminist Issues, and Outsider Art. She received her doctorate in art history from Columbia University in 1993. Ms. Sperling has served as curator, researcher, and writer for several art exhibitions. Most recently, Ms. Sperling worked on “The Legacy of Ferdinand A. Brader,” at the Canton (Ohio) Museum of Art, for which she both lectured and published.

In selecting from the artworks submitted to appear in the Barebrush calendar for January 2016, I shall seek excellence for the nudes and all genres calendars. I am excited to help provide artists with an extraordinary opportunity, to show their work online to a world-wide audience. I welcome all media, especially work that is fresh and new, presenting as yet unseen colors, images, and conceptions.
