Ms. Lorraine Lester, Managing Trial Attorney, CNA Insurance will be speaking on “Handling Specialty Cases: Unraveling the Mystery.” This summit will be held on February 3rd at the Double Tree by Hilton in Tampa, Florida.
Since 1990, Lorraine has handled medical negligence cases, represented licensed professionals before regulating boards, assisted professionals in navigating lawsuits in which they are not parties, defended industrial and commercial property owners, trucking companies, construction companies, and individual policyholders of personal line insurers. She has developed an expertise representing and defending large companies in complicated litigation, effective file management, and successful resolution of cases at mediations. She has numerous first-chair jury trials, including representing clients in medical negligence cases, defending dentists, allied professionals and accountants in litigation, the defense of serious personal injury cases and wrongful death cases, and many bench trials. Lorraine has been employed in the Staff Counsel program of CNA since October 2005, when she became Managing Trial Attorney of the Tampa office in October 2006, the Director of the Plantation office in May 2011, and assumed leadership of the combined three Florida Staff Counsel offices in January 2015.
